Her true love is to write fantasy books for children and youth – fairies, dragons, witches and many special creatures, but she also writes for adults. Eshkar, born 1976, was born and lives until today in Haifa, on the border of the Carmel forests, along with her husband, her three daughters (Yaari, Agat, Mapal) and their pets. She raises nine cats, a dog, a rabbit, and a guinea pig, and takes care of all the street cats around the house. Her house is immersed in greenery, surrounded by trees and various wildlife. From time to time, her garden and beyond hosts porcupines, turtles, badgers, mongoose, rabbits, wild boars, and jackals. These animals, in addition to the surrounding landscape, provide her with inspiration for her writing.
